  1. Help: Port and baudrate                                             17.03.93
  2. Here you can configure the interface between the PC and
  3. the Ethernet Box.
  4.  
  5. Choose the correct port (COM1:, COM2:, LPT1: or LPT2:)
  6. and for a serial connection the correct baudrate (1200
  7. to 38400 baud - the default baudrate is 9600 baud).

  9. By ⌠<F8>⌡ or ⌠<Enter>⌡ you increases the baudrate, and by
  10. ⌠<F7>⌡ you lower it.

  13. ≤Connection to the Ethernet box:≥
  14. If the program announces, that the Ethernet Box can not be
  15. programmed correctly, it is to be examined first of all that the
  16. connection between the box and your PC is correct. To test the
  17. communication please use the terminal mode of Net-Control.
  18. Check before the configured port and if necessary the
  19. baudrate.

  21. If you have connected the box serially Net-Control requires
  22. only the signals: send, receive and ground (pins 2,3 and 7 of
  23. the V24-interface). Pins 2 and 3 must be crossed.

  26. crosses.
